Nothing beats this old stand-by for graphic inspiration – the flower! Flowers  have always been popular subject matter for different forms of art. The abstracted psychadelic motif of the flower was made popular during the pop-art era of the 60’s. I love that era’s treatment of the traditional motif! I love taking the lines of a floral motif and translating it “abstractly” – turning botanical lines into graphics. Or taking a graphic motif and turning the graphics into “petals”.
I call this one “Chrys”!
